The WhatsApp update brings smartphone users with KaiOS functions to voice calls over the Internet, where they can now make calls within WhatsApp via WLAN or mobile data.

To activate the new feature, KaiOS users will need to update the current version of WhatsApp on their devices by accepting the update notification within the application.
