WhatsApp Releases Two New Security Features For Consumers
WhatsApp has added two new security measures for Indian consumers. Flash Calls and Message Level Reporting features give users more security and control over how they use the popular email program. Here’s a breakdown of what those qualities include.
Flash Calls is designed for new Android users or those who change phones frequently. Either way, people can verify their phone number with a robocall instead of a text message.
This simplifies the verification process and eliminates the need for consumers to wait for a text message first. It also guarantees a higher level of security.
Users can report a specific message they received on WhatsApp using the message level reporting feature. You can do this by long-pressing on the message you want to report and then choosing to report or block the user. This is a feature that was already discovered in the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS.

These new features complement existing WhatsApp security and data protection precautions. This includes the ability to hide a user’s profile picture, last seen, and other information from specific people, as well as the ability to block someone who may be annoying and two-step verification (2FA).
