UAE Inaugurates Asia’s Largest Visa Center in Karachi

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has inaugurated Asia’s largest visa center in Karachi. It has 11 windows and will provide consular services according to the latest international standards.

Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah also visited the visa center and received information about its services. You have been informed that the center is authorized to issue work visas.

CM Sindh thanked the UAE Government for developing the ‘Employment Window’ in the form of the new visa center in Karachi. He also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to help people from Sindh and Balochistan to find work in UAE through this center.

More than 1.6 million Pakistani expatriates reside in the United Arab Emirates, where they work in the public and private sectors and send more than $4 billion in remittances every year. The opening of the visa center further strengthens bilateral relations between the countries.

Introduction of Wizz Air in Pakistan

After approval by the federal government, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, one of the largest airlines in the United Arab Emirates, will soon start flights to/from Pakistan.

The federal cabinet approved Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s plans to operate in the country at a meeting in April this year.

Similarly, Pakistan has applied to the United Arab Emirates for permission to set up a private airline. However, no progress was made on this decision and the name of the private airline has not yet been announced.
