The move comes after the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) announced it would ban unvaccinated people from traveling by train from the 1st of October.

This was decided by the National Command and Operations Center at a meeting chaired by Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar.

The forum expressed concern over the growing number of coronavirus cases in Peshawar and Rawalpindi.

Pakistan has vaccinated more than 35 million people so far, while the PTI government plans to vaccinate 70 million people by the end of this year.
