Signs Show That The Existence Of A New Planet Outside The Milky Way Is Possible

NASA’s Chandra X-ray Telescope recently discovered signs of a new planet outside the Milky Way. Evidence of its existence has been found in the Messier 51 galaxy, which is also 28 million light-years from our home planet.

NASA’s Chandra X-ray telescope detects X-ray emissions primarily from warm regions, for example, the region near a black hole or where there are galaxy clusters.

The spacing device recently observed little light outside the Milky Way. Such things usually happen when a planet passes a star and hides its brightness. Many ‘exoplanets’ have already been discovered in this way.

As per the recent observation, the size of the newly discovered planet is similar to that of Saturn. Since the transit time was approx. 3 hours, the X-ray emission sank to zero; As per the study, this is how the size of planets is determined.

The current research on the candidate planet is carried out by Dr. Rosanne Di Stefano, a member of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center.

Astronomers have used ground-based and space-based telescopes to search for “holes in optical light, electromagnetic radiation that humans can see, that enable the discovery of thousands of planets,” a press release said.
