Saudi Aramco Releases Freelancer Platform

State-owned Saudi Aramco and Future Work Business Services Company have partnered to launch a new platform called Madd to connect qualified freelancers and freelancers with larger organizations and businesses.

Madd is a Human Resources (HR) platform that offers a variety of employment opportunities to trained professionals. This should develop a sustainable economic system by bridging the gap between Saudi talent and good job opportunities.

The joint venture will act as a tool to help all parties involved in the freelance labor market align, hire and collaborate.

According to Jamil Al-Baqawi, senior vice president of national development at Saudi Aramco, it will provide self-employed people with job opportunities in their fields and provide stable income and sustainable job prospects.

Digital platform Madd hopes to empower workers with modern work models and help them find jobs that suit their needs.

Short-Term Work Visa

Saudi Arabia has also introduced a new temporary work visa, allowing companies to issue short-term visas for up to three months, with the option to extend them for a further three months.
