Samsung Has Started The Mass Production Of Galaxy S22

Samsung’s S series usually breaks coverage early in the year and now that 2021 is drawing to a close, it’s no wonder the company has started work on its next phones.

A new report from WinFuture has revealed that the Korean tech giant has started mass production of components for the S22 series.

As per the report, Samsung has started mass production of components for all three S22 phone lines, including the entry-level S22, the S22 +, and the S22 Ultra. For the moment, production would be limited to smaller parts, such as flexible cables. The company is working on American models before other phone variants.

There is no confirmation of a start date yet, but some reports predict it will start in late January, while others claim it will be announced in early February.

The S22 launch is rumored to have been delayed as the Galaxy S21 FE also hits the market in early 2022. The Fan Edition phone could hit the consumer electronics show in 2022.

Specs-wise, the Galaxy S22 is said to have a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 898 or Exynos 2200, depending on the region. Your main camera could be a 108 MP sensor, just like the S21 Ultra. We can also see a 45W fast charge on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
