Samsung Galaxy S22 Release Date Announced
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is still months away from its debut, but thanks to a new Korean report we already have a firm release date. This report quotes one of the Samsung executives as revealing that the S23 series will launch in the first week of February, around the same time as the Galaxy S22 series.
This will be the first in-person Unpacked event since the pandemic. The launch is expected to take place in San Francisco and the phones will go on sale worldwide in late February.
This is not the first Korean report to confirm the date and time of the Galaxy S23 presentation. That may question his credibility, but since he’s quoting one of Samsung’s executives, it’s very likely true.
Rumors are pointing to a Galaxy announcement at CES 2023 in January. However, this isn’t the place for Samsung’s S-series announcements, which are usually reserved for their own Unpacked events. We doubt that this trend will change next year.

All Galaxy S23 models are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip instead of the usual Exynos SoCs.
