Cohort VI of the Salamti Fellowship Program seeks participants seeking peace across Pakistan. Previously, Cohorts I, II, III, IV, and V of the Salamti fellowship program had been successfully completed.

In this fully funded fellowship, technology-free, household scholarship program, peacebuilding specialists and gurus train selected participants through exercises, interactive sessions, and workshops over 7 days.

Participants can be between 18 and 35 years old.

Participants would be encouraged to participate in peacebuilding activities and increase their motivation, experience, expertise, and knowledge under the supervision of mentors and peace experts in their respective communities. Alumni of the program who are expert trainers provide orientation for new candidates.

Candidates to be elected must be motivated to become first responders and expert trainers, to reject violence, and to initiate peace-building activities in their communities. Candidates would be prioritized based on their contributions to organizations working for social justice, peace, tolerance, etc.

Candidates also have the privilege of being part of the SEFA alumni network upon completion of their program and participating in community building and promoting tolerance in their areas of expertise.

This platform gives you the opportunity to improve your skills. Peace without Borders, an initiative conceived in May 2015, was registered and launched on December 16, 2015, at the SEFA headquarters in Islamabad.

Salamti Fellowship 2021 Admission Requirements

The eligibility criteria for the Salamti Scholarship in Pakistan are listed below:

  • Age limit: 18-35 years.
  • The candidate must have an interest in tolerance and peacebuilding.
  • The candidate must have strong leadership skills.
  • The application form for the Salamti Scholarship Cohort VI must be submitted before the deadline.
  • The candidate must be part of the community engagement activity related to peace and peace. Countering Violent Extremism (CVE).
  • The candidate must be present at the final interview. (face to face / phone / skype).
  • The candidate must attend the 7-day SFEA workshop.
  • The candidate must commit to an activity such as a ‘Post-Fellowship Task’ in order to complete the scholarship.
  • The candidate must be a Pakistani citizen.
