A mother of two Raquel Lee who survived the massacre at a Texas mall described how a clerk shielded her and 12 others in a store’s bathroom but later died at the butcher shop.

Raquel Lee claimed she went shopping at the Allen Premium Outlets in Allen on Saturday and parked outside the H&M store just before 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia arrived and opened fire with an AR-15 gun, killing eight people and seven injured others, according to CBS News Texas.
“It looked like a war zone,” Lee told the outlet.
“It was awful and I felt like I was in a dream like a shock.”
Lee shared a chilling video of the group taking cover in the storage room, where they’re frantically on the phone and sitting on the floor.

“We were in a bathroom closet, and we were just in the closet trying not to be heard, crying, praying, people trying to call 911. We couldn’t dial the number,” said the visibly emotional woman.
“I just remember thinking, ‘Oh my God! He comes here afterwards. I ducked like, ‘I hope we don’t get hit by a bullet,'” Lee told the outlet of the harrowing experience.
“The seller saved our lives,” he added.
Footage he took shows that the group was eventually led out of the room with their hands raised after police cleared the gory scene.
Lee said that one of the bodies he saw was that of the heroic salesman.
Two of the dead were named Christian LaCour, a 20-year-old security guard, and Aishwarya Thatikonda, an Indian engineer who lived and worked in Texas.
The FBI is investigating whether Garcia, who was killed by a police officer, adopted neo-Nazi beliefs.
Garcia wore a patch on his chest that read “RWDS,” which stands for “Right Wing Death Squad,” a common catchphrase among white supremacist groups, according to a law enforcement official.
