Punjab Will Soon Reopen Electronic Transfer Portal For Teachers

The Punjab government is set to reopen the electronic transfer portal for teacher transfers and assignments under the School Education Department (SED) shortly, with a detailed timetable to be announced this week.

According to the information, school teachers of all categories will be able to apply for transfers nationwide after the reopening of the e-transfer portal.

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has made specific changes to the remittance portal to ensure remittances based on merit, transparency, and freedom from corruption.

Teachers of all public schools in the province can apply for the desired position through the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab e-transfer application.

In 2020, Sardar Usman Buzdar, then Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, introduced a corruption-free and transparent secondment and transfer policy.
