Punjab to announce the schools reopening decision within 24 hours: Murad Raas

Punjab’s Education Minister Murad Raas said Thursday that the schools reopening decision in the province would be announced within the next 24 hours.

The Punjab Education Minister, who said an update on the reopening of schools would be released tomorrow, also advised the masses to continue to follow Covid’s safety guidelines to stay safe during the third wave of the pandemic.

Will provide an update on the opening of all public and private schools in Punjab within 24 hours. Please follow the government-issued SOPs,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

Education institutions across Pakistan are currently closed until May 23, the federal directorate for education announced last week. The announcement was made on the recommendation of the National Command and Operations Center.

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced today that permission will be given to hold all professional exams immediately if all arrangements are satisfactory.
