PTA Releases Major Update To Restore Mobile Internet

The telecoms regulator imposed a suspension of mobile broadband services in Pakistan on May 9 after violent protests erupted following the arrest of Imran Khan.

Internet, social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.

The PTA today confirmed that mobile internet service will remain suspended in the country until further notice, but reassured users that high-speed internet service is still available.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah announced on Thursday that mobile internet services are expected to be restored within 36 hours.
