PTA Received Over 200,000 Complaints in The Last Year
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) received more than 200,000 complaints from telecom customers last year.
According to documents obtained by the media outlets, the agency received 218,621 complaints from telecom consumers from July 2021 to June 2022. Of the 218,621 complaints, 83,641 complaints were resolved, 65,780 complaints were resolved, and 20,984 complaints were partially resolved.
In 37,810 complaints, the PTA received incomplete information from consumers, while 9,007 complaints were dismissed for various reasons.
