Princess Diana made a prediction about Prince William
Princess Diana wanted Prince William to be king after Queen Elizabeth.
She had expressed her desire for William to succeed her grandmother during her explosive interview with Martin Bashir two years before her death.
During the interview, Bashir asked her: “When Prince William comes of age, would you wish to succeed the Queen in place of the current Prince of Wales?”
Diana replied, “My desire for my husband to find his peace of mind, and other things came of it, yes.”
Commenting on Diana’s response, royal expert and TV show host Richard Eden said: “I wonder if her prediction will turn out to be correct.”

Eden’s comments came after Scotland Yard said it had launched an investigation into a money-for-honor scandal involving Prince Charles’ charitable foundation.
The Prince of Wales, who denies having knowledge of the case, was not questioned as part of the foundation’s internal inquiry into the scandal.
