PMC Ordered The Company Running MDCAT 2021 To Be Blacklisted

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination called on the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) to blacklist the testing company that took the Medicine and Dentistry University (MDCAT) Admissions Test in 2021 and put the test in renowned to renew universities.

The NA panel meeting, which was chaired by Khalid Hussain Magsi on Wednesday, discussed in detail the current issues of PMC and MDCAT 2021.

The committee was of the opinion that the irregularities were revealed in the MDCAT 2021 entry test of the not yet experienced company.

Of 196,000 students, only 68,000 passed the test, and 20,000 places were available in public and private medical schools, the committee reported.

The committee dealt with the Pakistani Medicines Regulatory Authority (Amendment) 2020 (Private Members Bill). He was told that the Senate bill had been referred and that the bill had expired after the 90-day deadline while it was being debated in a joint session of Parliament.

The committee has postponed the Islamabad Injured Person’s Compulsory Treatment Bill, 2021 (Private Members Bill), and the Drug Regulatory Authority Bill (Amendment), 2021 (Private Members) due to the absence of their authors. He also postponed the discussion on the admission problems of medical students from the former FATA (federally administered tribal areas).

Deputy Nasir Khan Musa Zai, Jai Parkash, Dr. Nousheen Hamid, Fozia Behram, Dr. Seemi Bukhari, Dr. Nisar Ahmed Cheema, Dr. Samina Matloob. Dr. Darshan, Mahesh Kumar Malani, Ramesh Lal, Dr. Shazia Sobia Aslam, Shams-un-Nisa, and Mohsin Dawar attended the meeting.
