PMC Issues Notice of Conduction of MDCAT Entry Test
The latest notification informs everyone that the National Assembly of Pakistan has passed legislation dissolving the PMC. Not only that, but they also ordered the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) to be reinstated. Apart from that, the national NLE license exams will also be suspended.
Now the old practices are restored with PMDC recovery. With the dissolution of the PMC, it is also important to mention that the national MDCAT is no longer organized.
According to past practice, provincial MDCATs are expected to be conducted by the respective provincial accredited universities i.e. UHS in Punjab, KMU in KP, and LUMHS in Sindh. Now, on the question of tuition fees, the expectation is that fees will be reimbursed or the same fees will apply to all provincial MDCATs. We hope PMDC will clear up any student doubts in the next few days.

According to the current decision, the state universities will carry out their MDCAT. In addition, each province will follow the previous program and model.
Students only need to prepare for their respective provincial programs. The MDCATs are completed on paper in accordance with past practice. Further updates will be shared with you as they are announced.
