PIA Airline Increased Their Two Ticket Prices By 25%
PIA has increased the cost of the round-trip economy class ticket from Lahore to Sharjah to Rs. 113,927/-, while the cost of the business economy class has increased to Rs. 135,000/-. Similarly, the PIA round-trip fare from Lahore to Karachi was increased to Rs. 64,150/- and Karachi Executive Economy Class from Lahore to Rs. 85,930/-.
In addition, after the increase, the price of a Lahore-Dubai round-trip economy ticket reached 190,000 rupees.
It is important to note that the rise in the price of oil derivatives and the US dollar has caused greater difficulties for air travelers, affecting ticket prices of all national airlines by more than 25%. The surge has led to an increase in airfares from Lahore to Dubai, Sharjah, Karachi, Toronto, Dammam, and Saudi Arabia, which has imposed a huge burden on air travelers.
The one-way ticket fare for flights from Lahore to Karachi and Karachi to Islamabad is calculated between Rs. 28,000/- and Rs. 30,000/- in business economy class from Karachi to Islamabad and has risen to Rs. 76,000/-.
Similarly, Lahore to Dammam PIA economy class fare reached Rs. 135,222/-.
