PEA urges the govt to hire teachers on a permanent basis

The PEA described the process as a conspiracy against education, but also called on the government to end the practice of contractually appointing teachers in public institutions.

PEA made the featured comments while discussing with journalists about the Pakistani education sector.

The PEA leadership highlighted the plight of the people who want to teach thousands of students every day and criticized the government for interning people for 750 rupees a day, while a lay worker earns an average of 1000 rupees a day.

They went on to explain that trainers and teachers can only teach better if they are financially stable and do not have to worry about their daily income.
