After Postponement Quetta Gladiators’ Revised PSL 2021 Schedule Has Been Announced

PCB Postponed the PSL 6 Remaining Matches Indefinitely Due to Operational Challenges

The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) has been postponed indefinitely on account of some operational challenges.

The decision was made a day after the United Arab Emirates government approved the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to host the remaining PSL 2021 games in Abu Dhabi.

According to sources, despite the UAE government’s permission, the harsh conditions of the UAE government make it impossible to organize the remaining PSL parties.

On Tuesday, the Abu Dhabi government gave the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) the green light to host the remaining PSL 2021 games at the venue.

Wasim Khan, Executive Director of PCB: “In today’s online discussion we informed the owners of the equipment that the PCB had been informed that the PSL had received permits from the relevant authorities in the UAE. However, some clarifications are still awaited on certain exemption requests, which are expected sometime on Thursday.”

The team owners agreed that if we didn’t get any clarity by Thursday afternoon, they would have no choice but to request the postponement of the remaining 20 matches.”
