Captain Babar Azam became the world’s fastest batsman, reaching 14 Centuries One-Day International (ODI) in 81 innings on Tuesday when Pakistan scored a 332 total score versus England in the third game of the series at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Previously, the title was held by South African Hashim Amla, who reached the milestone in 84 innings.

Australian cricketer David Warner completed his centuries in 98 innings while Virat Coal of India reached the milestone in 103 matches. With his powerful innings, the 26-year-old was also the first Pakistani captain to accumulate 158 points in England.

Babar Azam vindicated his status as the world’s top ODI hitter and won another title as he is the first Pakistani captain to complete a century in England after Imran Khan.
