Online Registration Portal Remains Inaccessible Despite The Start Of MDCAT Admissions Process

Update: PMC fixed the issue and the online registration portal is now working.

The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) recently opened the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 registration for admission to MBBS and BDS programs.

However, medical and dental aspirants face difficulties as the PMC registration portal is not accessible despite opening the registration process.

First, the PMC said the registration portal was inaccessible due to internet problems across the country due to the PTI’s long advance.

Subsequently, the PMC clarified that it is working closely with the National Telecommunications Corporation (CNT) to solve the technical problems in accessing the registration portal.

Earlier this week, the PMC invited students to apply for the MDCAT 2022. The deadline to apply for the MDCAT 2022 with regular fees is July 5th. From July 6th to 15th, students can register for an additional fee.

However, the PMC has not clarified whether due to the delayed access to the registration portal, it will extend the application submission date for a normal fee.
