Who is Oakley Carlson of Washington? Biography, Wiki

Oakley Carlson was a missing Washington child who had not been seen since Social Services returned her to her biological parents. However, her disappearance was not reported until an elementary school principal was turned on.

Deputy Sheriff Kevin Schrader told News Nation that Oakley was returned to her biological parents in February 2021 after spending nearly three years of her life in foster care. Sometime after returning to his parents’ home in Oakville, he disappeared.

Oakley Carlson’s Age

Her current age is 5 years.

Missing

Oakley was reported missing after officers arrived at her family’s home on December 6, 2021, for a health check at the request of Oakville Elementary School principal Jessica Swift.

Swift said the first time she noticed anything odd was when she was delivering supplies to parents in Oakley in December 2021 after a house fire destroyed much of her belongings.

“Jordan had let us know there was a fire, so I went out to check on them, support them, and drop off school supplies right after the fire,” Swift said. “I saw all the other kids running around and playing and I didn’t see Oakley, and I thought that was a bit strange. I asked where he was and was told he was in his room at a dead time.”

Two weeks later, Swift returned home and never saw Oakley again. Later, Oakley’s 6-year-old sister went to Swift’s house to meet Swift’s daughter, and that’s when Swift found out they hadn’t seen Oakley in a while.

“While I was on a date with my daughter and Oakley’s sister, I asked about Oakley,” Swift told News Nation. “And during those questions, it turned out that Oakley doesn’t live with them anymore. I can’t describe the feeling I had in that moment sitting on that couch with that girl when she said that.”

Swift said she immediately contacted the Grays Harbor Police Department and filed a complaint.

Arrested Parents

Police arrested Oakley’s parents, Jordan Bowers and Andrew Carlson, and initially charged them with manslaughter after failing to locate Oakley. Those charges were dropped for lack of evidence, but both face negligence charges relating to Oakley’s 6-year-old sister for allegedly not giving him prescription drugs for months.

Investigators questioned the 5-year-old girl, who said her mother told her not to talk about Oakley. Finally, he admitted that he had not seen his sister for a long time; He started crying when a detective asked him if Oakley was hurt.

“Her mother, Jordan, told her not to talk about Oakley and that the wolves would eat her,” a police report said.

When investigators searched the home, they saw no sign that Oakley had ever been there.

“We didn’t notice any rooms that were ready for Oakley on the ground floor, where everyone had rooms ready,” Schrader said.

Schrader added that none of Oakley’s clothing was inside the home and that police found spatter of blood in the home. However, he hopes Oakley is still alive and found.

“I think we will bring this case to a conclusion. I hope Oakley is found and found alive, but part of me believes that given the investigation, that may not be the case.”
