Meghan Markle & Harry Are Winning The Hearts Of British Women With The Latest Announcement
Meghan and Harry’s Archewell Foundation has announced a series of charitable investments in leading organizations committed to advancing gender equality, developing policies to empower women and families, ensuring meaningful media representation of women, and providing a network of tools and support for women to get a job.
One of the organizations on her list is the UK’s Smart Work Charity, which provides clothing and training to help women feel confident and find jobs.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave up their royal duties and moved to California to pursue an independent life.
The royal couple has faced backlash from British media and royal fans for leaving their country.
But their recent announcement suggests they still care about their country and its people.
Smart Work Charity said on Tuesday: “On the first day of Women’s History Month, we are delighted to announce that the Archewell Foundation will support Smart Works with a grant to facilitate a major research project on female unemployment in the UK.”

Previously, a statement on Meghan and Harry’s charity said: “Since 2019, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has been Patron of Smart Works, a UK charity that exists to give women the confidence they need to be their fullest.”

Archewell Foundation support will enable the production of the Smart Works Women’s Unemployment Index, a highly robust study examining women’s unemployment problems across the UK, with the aim of providing an annual benchmark where progress and changes can be monitored.
