Karen Stevenson was last seen two weeks ago. The police have launched a new appeal for the missing woman. She was last seen on the Seafar Road near McGregor Road in Cumbernauld at around 3:15 am on Saturday 19 February.
Police officers from Scotland also searched an area of woodland near Allanfauld Road in Cumbernauld earlier this week.

Police have revisited the spot where a woman missing for two weeks was last seen as they issued a new request for information.
Karen Stevenson, 42, was last sighted in Cumbernauld in the early hours of February 19.
He was walking down Seafar Road near McGregor Road at around 3:15 am.
Officials spoke to the public and motorists in the area to ask if they had any information.
Ms. Stevenson, a mother of two, is described as 5ft 1in tall with a slim build and long brown hair.
She wore a purple jacket with a fur-lined hood, a long-sleeved cream t-shirt with a graphic print, black leggings, and black ankle boots.
Police said she may also have been carrying a small pink purse with metal studs and a chain strap.
Cumbernauld Police Station Inspector Susan Rae said: “It has been two weeks since Karen went missing and her family remains very concerned and concerned.”
What Was The Family Statement?
Karen’s family remains deeply concerned and concerned about her disappearance.
In a statement, they said: “This is completely unusual for Karen and she has never disappeared before.”
“The whole family is concerned and wants Karen to get in touch with someone to let us know that she is safe.”
“If anyone has any leads, please contact the police as soon as possible.”
