Jawny, a “plane Karen” using a microphone in the middle of the aisle of a plane, and the strange moment were captured in a video that has now gone viral.
The plane Karen was on the plane and posted the video on TikTok. “I bought the onboard WiFi just to post this,” Jawny wrote about the video. “We are in the air right now.”

What Was The Incident?
In the video, the unidentified Karen stood in the middle of the aisle of the plane and revealed that she had brought the microphone from her. You can see her speaking into a microphone.
She then proceeds to address the passengers in a series of lengthy comments. She at some point she raised her voice and seemed to yell at the passengers.

Another passenger and a stewardess get up and intervene, but the woman walks for a while.
“I brought my microphone, I’ll use it. The pandemic started because people lost some faith,” said the woman.
Elsewhere she said: “I don’t need handcuffs. But I think everyone will appreciate it because, as I said, I don’t look that good. The reason the pandemic started was basically the Internet … the reason the Internet started is that no one here has faith anymore … they don’t even know what reality is anymore … my dog has more common sense than anyone of you. He realizes that people are too focused on electronics to appreciate reality.”
“Do you want to handcuff me?” I am completely harmless,” she said elsewhere.
Then they walk her down the hall.
The video of Jawny on Karen’s plane has received more than 2.1 million views.
What Was The People’s Reaction?
People criticized the woman on Jawny’s TikTok comment thread.
“This no-fly list is getting so long that it looks like a receipt from CVS,” wrote one person.
“She really thought she was going to give a TED talk on the flight,” wrote another.
“Lighting service fixtures,” joked another.
“Was it a deleted scene from Bridesmaids?” Someone else joked.

“Where did you get the microphone from? I thought she was a flight attendant in the first half,” wrote another (she was not).
“Why do people spend hundreds of dollars just to get on a plane and get arrested? Save money and get arrested first,” joked another.
“Flying is really better than taking a bus,” wrote another person.
“Portable microphones will soon be banned in carry-on luggage,” another person laughed.
