Is MDCAT 2022 Delayed After Floods in Pak?

The Medical and Dental College (MDCAT) entrance test 2022 and National Licensing Examination (NLE) would be delayed due to flooding in the country, the National Health Services (NHS) Standing Committee has ruled. The Pakistan Medical Board had announced 7th September as the start date for PMC MDCAT 2022, but due to recent flash flooding, the NHS Standing Committee decided to postpone the study by a few weeks.

Delayed PMC MDCAT 2022 Announces Syeda Zehra Wadood Fatimi:

As we have promised to med students and students, we will never leave you alone in the chaos surrounding MDCAT and NLE. MDCAT 2022 will not now be taken and postponed, NHS Standing Committee member Miss Syeda Zehra Wadood Fatemi said in a video message.

A tweet showing Ms. Syeda Zehra Wadood Speaking About The MDCAT 2022 Delay:

A week ago, the health authorities of Sindh and Balochistan sent letters to PMC for postponing the MDCAT 2022 test due to the devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan. After that, the federal government also asked PMC to postpone and reschedule the MDCAT and NLE exams.

These letters were written for the safety of midshipmen and medical students during the floods, as almost all road and rail networks in Balochistan have been shut down.

MDCAT 2022 Delay, Nothing New For Applicants:

Postponing or rescheduling medical entrance tests is nothing new for applicants as it has been an iterative process for many years. Currently, the MDCAT 2022 is expected to be delayed by a maximum of one to two weeks as the flooding situation across the country normalizes.

Student’s Roll Numbers Removed From The PMC Website:

On Friday morning, August 26th, the Pakistan Medical Commission issued serial number sheets to students for medical entrance exams, and some time ago some students complained about the removal of the serial number sheets which they had already downloaded from the PMC website.

PMC Will Be Rescheduling MDCAT Test Dates Soon:

The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) will soon reschedule the test dates for MDCAT 2022 in one to two weeks. The entry test rescheduling comes after the restoration of the road network and other communications networks will soon be carried out in all parts of the country, particularly in Balochistan.

Applicants are advised to follow their MDCAT syllabus according to the above flow and not allow procrastination to disrupt their rhythm.
