Huawei Reportedly Released A Moto Razr-Style Phone

Huawei has already launched a flip phone called the Mate X. It has already received two successor phones, but it looks like the Chinese brand is keen to launch another, a flip phone similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

A Chinese insider believes this Huawei fold will be called the Mate V (‘V’ stands for the cover fold design).

It is powered by the Kirin 9000 chip, which is not surprising as it is the latest high-performance chip manufactured by Huawei’s in-house chipmaking division, HiSilicon.

It’s unclear which networks it will support as the current foldable Huawei Mate X2 supports both LTE and 5G.

However, the ban situation in the United States prohibits Huawei from using any 5G technology on its smartphones and selling them anywhere.

We can’t wait to take a look at the Huawei Mate V at the company’s next product launch event, which is slated to begin on 21st October.

We are awaiting other major announcements in this launch, such as the Mate 50 range, but there is no confirmation yet.

However, since this is the first time we’ve heard of a flip phone, we may have to wait longer for an announcement.
