In this regard, non-Saudi citizens can contact the Passport Service (Jawazat) to perform Hajj; The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the permits will be issued from May 5 and only those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 will receive the permits.

Meanwhile, the latest date for pilgrims to get vaccinated is 10 days before the Hajj season. It should be noted that the Ministry has set the 10th Shawwal as the deadline for paying the third and final installment of their Hajj reservation for local pilgrims.

It should be noted that Saudi Arabia would be hosting a large number of pilgrims for the first time, some 2.3 million after the pandemic-related restrictions were lifted. Around a million people attended the 2022 Hajj season and only those between the ages of 18 and 65 who were fully vaccinated or immune to the virus and did not suffer from any chronic diseases were allowed to visit the kingdom.
