Here’s all major news that was announced in a 9 min video on Google I/O 2021

After a busy first day with Google I/O 2021, the search engine released a condensed model of his two-hour speech. So, from day one, you can access all the great newsletters in just 9 minutes. Really, they’re over eight and a half.

By default, the keynote was filled with all types of newsletters. From AI to AR to Android and even a few surprises in between. Unsurprisingly, there were no {hardware} bulletins on Google I/O 2021.

So unfortunately no Pixel 5a. Apparently, this could be a different opportunity than the {Hardware} team in about a month or so.

Android 12 wasn’t the focus of the Google I/O keynote highlights

Given all of the leaks we’ve seen on Android 12 starting with Google I/O 2021, we expected this to be a big part of the keynote. But this was not the case. It was about 20 minutes or so. However, it was a big part of the newsletters from day one.

The main beta version of Android 12 has been released on Google I/O. This brings the biggest Android replacement in a few years, most would say 2014.

Mainly because of the new materials you’re designing and implementing in Android 12, it’ll be available for all Google merchandise later this year as well.

Google also introduced a couple of new options for its Password Monitor and a locked folder for Google Pictures. This is useful for storing your delicate photos.

Google Maps has introduced a few new options that help you stay safe while on the move, among other things.

Google I / O is not done. However, most of the mass newsletters have already been published. As we speak and tomorrow would be the Development Periods, some newsletters could be arriving.
