Google Play Store Is Coming Very Soon For Windows 10 And 11

This year’s Game Awards brought a surprising announcement for all Windows users. A Google spokesperson announced that all games in the Google Play Store will have native support for Windows 10 and 11 next year. In short, Android games are coming to Windows very soon.

Microsoft already had a partnership with Amazon for its Android apps on Windows 11, so it was only a matter of time before Google joins the fight.

Amazon made an official announcement with Microsoft, but in the case of Google, the company appears to be doing this on its own. The spokesman didn’t reveal much about the development but said the games would be available through a Google app designed specifically for Windows 10 and 11.

There will also be a continuity function. For example, if you’ve been in the middle of a game on your Android phone, you can pick up right where you left off on your PC. This means that your game progress will be synced across all devices.

Google said more information will be released soon. We hope this development will go beyond games and maybe one day see it for all application categories in the future.
