Flydubai Launches Direct Flights To Three Destinations in Poland

Flydubai, a low-cost airline based in the United Arab Emirates, has announced that it will start direct flights to three cities in Poland from October 29, 2023.

The airline flies to Poznan three times a week, departing from Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. After the launch of this route, Flydubai will be the first airline from the United Arab Emirates to start operations in Poznan.

In addition to Poznan, the airline also flies to Warsaw and Kraków. It currently offers daily flights to Warsaw and five weekly flights to Kraków, with the latter switching to daily flights on June 26.

Welcoming the airline’s expansion into three Polish cities, Flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said demand for travel between the UAE and Poland has increased since Flydubai launched flights to Kraków in 2018.

He added that direct flights to Poznan will give passengers more travel options and will boost trade and tourism between the two countries.

Grzegorz Bykowski, CEO of Poznan Airport, welcomed Flydubai’s decision, noting that the direct connection to Dubai will create travel opportunities for Polish residents and give them access to the airline’s network of 120 destinations in 52 countries.

He also noted that the new route will generate more passenger traffic for tourism and business purposes.
