Expected Petrol Price in Pakistan 1 December 2023
In a renewed effort to alleviate the economic strain on the public caused by inflation, the Pakistani government is poised to declare a reduction in petrol and diesel prices for the first half of December 2023.
On the global stage, the price of a single barrel of Russian crude oil has experienced a noteworthy decrease of $60, currently trading below this threshold in the market. Similarly, British Brent has seen a 1% decline, with its current trading value standing at $80.58 per barrel.
Taking into account these recent developments in the international market, there is a substantial expectation of relief in local fuel prices.
The interim government is scheduled to announce the adjusted fuel prices today, on November 30, and these new rates will come into effect from December 1, 2023.
As of November 2023, the current price of petrol in Pakistan is Rs281.34 per litre.

- Diesel: Rs296.71 per litre
Expected Petrol Prices in December 2023:
- Petrol: Rs260 per litre
- Diesel: Rs282 per litre
