Eid ul Fitr 2023 Bank Holidays Announced
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced five-day public holidays to mark the Muslim holiday known as Eid ul Fitr.
In an announcement, the central bank said the bank will be closed from Friday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 25.
The federal government had already announced a five-day national holiday for the Eidul Fitr festival.
In the meantime, the Ruet-e-Hilal Central Committee will meet tomorrow to view Eidul Fitr’s crescent moon.
The meeting will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad and will be chaired by Ruet-e-Halal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, according to an official statement.
