Dubai Issues A Notice Of Free Parking For Eid Al-Fitr
The Dubai Highways and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that all motorists will be able to park for free for four to five days during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
The free parking period starts on Thursday, April 20th and lasts until Sunday or Monday depending on the moon sighting.
However, multi-level parking is not included in this offer. The RTA also announced some changes to the service.
In addition, RTA has announced the operating hours of the Red and Green Line metro stations, Dubai Tram, public buses, and intercity buses during the Eid break.
Metro Red and Green Line stations operate Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the following day and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the next day.
The Dubai Tram operates from 6 am to 1 am Thursday to Saturday and from 9 am to 1 am on Sunday. Public buses run from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and the city bus stations are operated synchronously with the first and last trip on the subway.
During the holiday season, the intercity bus lines follow the regular timetable.
