The Directorate-General for Residence and Foreign Affairs (DDRFA) in Dubai has announced a 3-day program for people who have stayed longer in the country.

Dubai to Launch A Special Program For Expired Visa Holders To Avoid Lawsuits

The initiative aims to provide solutions for people who face difficulties due to their expired visas or permits.

The DDRFA said the program will start from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from February 25th to 27th. It takes place in the Deira city center near Centrepoint.

DDRFA officers will be on-site to guide people and help them find a solution to their length of stay issues.

The program is part of DDRFA’s effort to help people cope with their condition and avoid punishment or lawsuits.

The authority urged those who stayed longer to take this opportunity and visit the designated site during the 3-day period.

Lt. Col. Salem bin Ali, director of the DDRFA Customer Satisfaction Department, urged people to visit them without hesitation. Even when people have financial problems, solutions are found for them, he added.

All measures are taken to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of applicants. This initiative has been welcomed by many people who are struggling to solve their visa status problems.
