The booth is already closed and DDRA will be announcing a new location for the second phase shortly. As quoted by the Khaleej Times, the DDRFA acknowledged the successful completion of the initial phase and commended the contribution of the Deira downtown government.
It is important to make it clear that this is not an amnesty program but an awareness-raising program. The DDRFA hopes to educate people about their rights and responsibilities after moving to the UAE.
About The Program “A Home For All”
The DDRFA announced this 3-day program for people with expired residency permits or other visa-related issues. The program, completed on February 27, is part of the DDRFA’s effort to help people clarify their visa status and avoid penalties or legal action.
Lt. Col. Salem bin Ali, director of the DDRFA Customer Satisfaction Department, urged people to visit them without hesitation. Even when people have financial problems, solutions are found for them, he added.
