Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain Died At The Age of 49

Former PTI Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and TV presenter Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain was found dead at his home. He was 49 years old. He was married three times.

Aamir Liaquat was taken to a private hospital after she was found unresponsive at home. He was taken to the Aga Khan Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Aamir Liaquat was unwell last night but refused to go to the hospital, but this morning his servant broke down the locked door to his bedroom when he received no reply from him. The servant immediately called the emergency services and the police.

DIG East Muquddas Haider said initial reports showed no foul play; However, the politician’s autopsy will be performed at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center. Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf adjourned the session, which had started earlier in the day, until 5 pm. m. Friday after the death of the deputy became known.

Liaquat joined the PTI in March 2018 and was elected MP for Karachi (NA-245) in the general election. Then he fell out with the party. He had previously been a key leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and had split from the party in August 2016, stating at the time that he was leaving politics.
