Donte Greene is a former NBA basketball player who was arrested after attempting to rob a gas station attendant in Indiana, according to local reports.
Greene faces charges of attempted robbery after Goshen police said he lunged at a Phillips 66 gas station attendant and demanded that he “give him all the money”.

Around midnight on November 8, police received a call about a drunk driver in the area before receiving another call about a man attempting to rob a gas station attendant. The second call was from a Taco Bell connected to the same Phillips 66 gas station that Greene tried to rob.
When the cops got to the gas station, they arrested Greene and booked him in the Elkhart County Jail.
Career
The 6-foot-11 forward played under legendary coach Jim Boeheim as a rookie at Syracuse University for just one year during the 2007-08 season. He started all 35 games and led Syracuse with 17.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game before entering the draft.
Greene was drafted 28th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies but was immediately traded to the Houston Rockets in the 2008 NBA Draft. Greene also played for the Boston Celtics and the Sacramento Kings.
During his NBA career, Greene averaged 6.1 points per game in a total of 253 games before deciding to play overseas. Greene most recently appeared with Coach Boeheim’s Syracuse alumni team at ESPN’s basketball tournament in the summer of 2017.
