Diana Would Think Meghan Markle Would Make Prince Harry Happy, Says Sarah Ferguson
Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, is in Italy to promote her book dedicated to one of his ancestors.
The Duchess of York sat down for an interview with a local announcer to discuss her book and her relationship with Andrew.
He also referred to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the interview in Italy.
“The most important thing, and I know Diana would say that if she were here, is that they are happy. And it makes him happy. . “He said, responding to a question about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who moved to California after leaving their royal duties.”
About her relationship with Prince Andrew, she said: “We respect one another, it’s a different love than before.”
“She was the happiest girl in the world,” said the Duchess of York in her interview, referring to her brief but intense marriage experience with Prince Andrew.

Andrew has been accused of raping Virginia Giuffre in the London home of British celebrity Ghislaine Maxwell more than two decades ago, and of molesting her in two homes owned by financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Giuffre, 38, sued Andrew in August for unspecified damages.
Andrew, 61, has denied Giuffre’s allegations, accusing her of trying to bring the allegations against Epstein, who, according to Giuffre, also molested her and people who knew him. The prince was not charged with any crime.
