WhatsApp Will Likely Add Novi’s Instant Payment Functionality
Social media giant Facebook began testing its Novi cryptocurrency wallet earlier this week. Only a few days after the start of the test, WABetaInfo discovered evidence of the integration of Novi Wallet in WhatsApp.
As per the WABetaInfo report, Facebook is testing compatibility with Novi Wallet for WhatsApp, which allows users to send and receive payments directly through the app.
The screenshot shows how the Novi integration allows WhatsApp users to add their bank accounts or link a card to their WhatsApp accounts. It also allows you to withdraw funds from the bank account and view your transactions and your balance.
However, only the code for this function has been integrated for internal testing. Therefore, it is currently not possible to use the service.

Facebook has expressed interest in adding Novi Wallet to its family of applications, but this is the first time it has been discovered in an application. The company has started a small pilot test that will allow users to send and receive money through the stable currency called “Pax Dollar (USDP)”. It still doesn’t allow you to trade Facebook’s own Diem crypto.
WABetaInfo says that it is unclear when the function will launch. It is also possible that the WhatsApp integration of the Novi wallet will never see the light of day because “many regulations” must be observed.
