42 Pakistani Universities Listed in The Times Higher Asia University Rankings 2022
At least 42 Pakistani universities have been listed in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asian University Rankings 2022.
According to the prestigious ranking, Quaid-i-Azam University topped the list, Abdul Wali Khan Mardan University was second, while Islamabad International Islamic University, GCU Faisalabad, and Hazara University of Mansehra finished in the top 5.

The Asian University Ranking 2022 evaluates universities based on 13 performance indicators.

According to reports, at least 616 institutions from 31 countries were evaluated according to teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international perspective.
Two Chinese universities, including Tsinghua University and Peking University, topped the list. They included the National University of Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University, the University of Tokyo, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the National University of Seoul, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Fudan University Top 10 institutions on the list.
