3 Weekly Holidays Announced For Schools And Work From Home By Punjab Govt
The cold winter has started across Pakistan. For this reason, the smog situation in the province has also worsened day by day. The Lahore High Court expressed the seriousness of the situation in Punjab as the government failed to curb pollution in the province.
Due to the smog conditions prevailing in Punjab, the Lahore High Court has decided to declare three public holidays for all public and private schools and universities in the province. In addition, the bank has decided to lead the work-from-home strategy for all public and private organizations in the province.
The LHC considered these measures to prevent citizens from becoming victims of smog-related diseases.

After reviewing the performance of environmental staff, Judge Shahid ordered the provincial government to hire well-known international environmentalists to help curb Punjab’s smog.
