The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a decrease in working hours for the private sector in the month of Ramadan 2026.

According to the data, the working time of the private sector in the United Arab Emirates was reduced by two hours per day in the month of Ramadan 2026 in the holy month of Ramadan.

Separately, the ministry has instructed private companies to adopt flexible or remote work patterns within daily working hours during the Ramadan days.
Earlier, the UAE had announced office hours for all federal employees, who will work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, during 12:00 p.m. Friday is the cutoff time for Friday prayers.
