Spanish National Court Approves The Extradition Of The McAfee Founder to the USA

The Spanish National Court announced on Wednesday that it has approved the extradition of antivirus software pioneer John McAfee to the USA, where he is wanted for tax evasion.

The court’s decision to extradite the 75-year-old who was arrested at Barcelona Airport is open to appeal but must also be approved by the Spanish cabinet.

“The court accepts the extradition of John David McAfee requested by the US judicial authorities for the crimes named in the tax offenses for the years 2016 to 2018,” said the 16-page verdict on Monday.
