“Now we have prepared an institutional agreement signed by both Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Prince Muhammad bin Salman,” said Qureshi.

It’s called the Strategic Coordination Council between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The agreement has three pillars: political, economic, cultural, and communicative dissemination.

We had successful discussions on all bilateral, economic and regional issues at the meeting with officials,” noted the Minister, referring to the Prime Minister’s recent visit to the Kingdom.

Qureshi said the Kingdom’s Foreign Minister and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman will visit Pakistan soon.

Saudi Arabia has started work on a new development project in the kingdom that will require billions of people,” he noted. “To this end, Saudi Arabia will set a quota for Pakistanis. This will allow hundreds of people to get jobs abroad.”

The minister added that Saudi Arabia had decided to allocate $500 million more to Pakistan for hydropower projects.

Qureshi spoke about the Israeli attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and emphasized the importance of speaking out together against atrocities by the OIC.

If we also talk to each other, the impact will be second to none,” he concluded.
