Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones last year. According to reports, the company will launch three new foldable smartphones. A new report now says the company plans to launch a tri-fold tablet soon.

According to a report by Lets Go Digital, Samsung Electronics has registered a trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) indicating the company’s intention to launch a folding tray under the Z-fold line. The company’s new device is to be marketed under the name “Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab“.

The report also states that the branded app has been classified as Class 9 by the company with the description “Smartphones, Tablets”.

Interestingly, the report notes that Samsung hasn’t used the term “Galaxy Z Fold” before, which suggests that a Galaxy Z Fold tablet is actually in the works.

Additionally, the report said the company is expected to launch the new tri-fold tablet in the first quarter of 2022 and be compatible with the S-Pen pen. The device’s screen is tilted so that it is made from a novel ultra-thin glass (UTG) that is likely to improve the use of SPen.

In addition, details of the upcoming foldable tablet from Samsung are currently still sparse. We will keep you updated as soon as we hear anything.
