Patrick Clancy, the husband of nurse practitioner Lindsay Clancy, is accused by a prosecutor of strangling the couple’s three young children in Duxbury, Massachusetts.

What Were The Details Of An Incident?
District Attorney Tim Cruz said on Tuesday evening: “Around 6:11 pm this evening, Duxbury Police received a 911 call from a male resident of 47 Summer Street who arrived at the home reporting the attempted suicide of the adult resident who had jumped from the home window of the house”.
“Upon arrival, Duxbury Police and Fire Brigade located the woman. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where she is now.”
“First responders then located three unconscious children under the age of five with obvious signs of trauma.”
“A five-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy were taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.”
“An eight-month-old baby was flown to a Boston hospital where he is currently being treated.”
The next day, January 25, Cruz confirmed that the woman was identified as Lindsay Clancy and that the two children killed were 5-year-old Cora Clancy and 3-year-old Dawson Clancy.
Cruz said the state’s office of the chief medical examiner has jurisdiction over the deaths and will ultimately determine how the children might be killed.
“At first glance, it looks like the children were strangled,” Cruz said Wednesday.
