How Much Teacher Earn In UAE Per Month?
Recruitment campaigns at schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are gaining momentum, with several schools announcing up to 600 apprenticeships for the upcoming school year, which starts in August.
One of the educational institutions, whose name was not released, said it had more than 100 vacancies to fill for the 2023-24 academic year.
According to the information, popular schools that have announced their vacancies include Taaleem, Gems Education, Aldar, and many more. For example, a school called Uptown International School in Dubai needs a school counselor, while metropolitan Jebel Ali School is looking for a principal.
Additionally, Aldar Academies require a director for their Department of Education department, while many schools have also advertised managerial positions.
Teacher in UAE Eligibility Criteria
In order to be admitted to this profession in the UAE, one must have a teaching certificate. In addition, applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
However, to become a subject officer, a teacher must have a degree appropriate to the subject.
According to Credence High School principal Deepika Thapar Singh, teachers submit their resumes online to apply for vacancies, and shortlisted candidates are invited to interviews and live classroom demonstrations of the lesson, where their skills are evaluated.
The average salary of teachers in the United Arab Emirates ranges from AED 9,000 to 14,000 ($2,450 to $3,800). This may vary based on experience and qualifications.
