American actress Emma Stone shared what she missed most while filming Disney’s new live-action feature film Cruella.
Speaking to the reporter, the Oscar winner said it was “hard not to have Cruella’s iconic cigarette in hand” while he was making the film.
The 32-year-old said: “We are not allowed to smoke on the screen in a Disney movie“, “It is not allowed in 2021,” she added.
While she was “so excited to have that puff of green smoke there,” she said that she did not want to encourage smoking.
“I don’t want to encourage smoking, but I’m also not trying to encourage skinned puppies,” she joked.
Cruella is a 2021 American action comedy film based on the character Cruella de Vil from Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians and the 1961 Disney film adaptation. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie.
Emma Stone plays the main character with Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Mark Strong in supporting roles.
